We recommend all new clients, especially if you are a beginner to Pilates, or are dealing with injuries or working with other physical limitations to start their PILATES or GYROTONIC® practice with a few private sessions, that take into consideration your lifestyle, level of commitment, and realistic goals. Based on this, we'll determine which classes are right for you and get you on your way to a healthier, stronger Pilates body.

Great question. After completing your intro pack you can continue with private sessions. We will continue building on your progress with your goals in mind.

Wear comfortable, non-zippered clothing that is easy to move in. Stay away from super baggy clothes so we can see your form. Loose shorts are not recommended. If you have long hair please put it back so it doesn’t interfere with the equipment. Sticky socks are required.

Working out 4 to 5 times a week is ideal. Come a few times a week and mix it up with a bike ride, swim or hike to keep your work outs interesting. Joseph Pilates said: “In 10 sessions, you will feel the difference. In 20, you will see the difference. And in 30, you’ll be on your way to having a whole new body.” Of course, we would love to see you every day!

You will be building and toning your muscles and that muscle will continue to burn calories, even after you have left class.
Many of our classes inject some cardio into them to help get your heart rate up and whittle away pounds. Calories in, calories out – with proper diet and a good mix of classes, you can definitely lose weight.
That being said, our programs work best in conjunction with a good nutritional program.

ABOUT THE OWNERS
CHRIS AND SONIA LOPEZ
Owned by Chris and Sonia Lopez, Body Evolutions opened its doors in Campbell, California in January of 2001. Since then thousands of students have walked through Body Evolutions' doors and benefited from the empowering benefits PILATES and GYROTONIC® fitness and wellness techniques have to offer towards ultimate balance and well-being.
